Bought this computer for my husband. Arrived as expected and in excellent condition. We usually use our home PCs for 6 to 8 years. He loves to! Easy setup and super fast.

I recently got this tower not only for general purposes but also to start working on animation and digital art and I absolutely love it! Everything was fine with the computer. I hate the vertical CD-ROM flap. First of all I came across it with the door open and it cost me over $200 to replace. Tried an external CD drive and it didn't work with Windows 10. I sent it back. I have one that said it was compatible but only worked when connected to the rear USB cable. Windows 10 is not suitable for this computer. Windows 7 will work great. The biggest problem is that Windows 10 won't recognize the CD/DVD player without serious software optimization, which is time-consuming. I've been working with business computers since 1987.

serious problem with the optical drive. Bad design. You must use two hands to insert or remove the disc, otherwise you will break the tray guides. This happened and HP had to send a replacement part along with a technician to replace the optical drive.
