I used this on my 840 g5 elite laptop and found it worked great on a 2018 iPad Pro with full peripheral and display support as well.

The firmware on these devices is outdated so I went through the HP process to update them and it results in my zbook 15 G3 under Win 10 1809 blue screen when updating USB drivers. The dock itself is good, but it looks like the Thunderbolt standard and HP haven't fixed all the bugs. Just do a google search and you will see the problems.

The docking station was not giving any signal to my monitors, I went back and tried another one and it worked. Seller will not issue a full refund as it worked for them. They sent me a photo, how can I be sure they didn't just take pictures from another dock? it didn't work for the customer. BEWARE BEFORE PURCHASING.

I have the same model in the office that comes with HPZbook. I like the connectivity that allows you to connect up to two monitors via data display ports and these are networked LAN port, standard and USB Type-C ports, it's a regular power plug, charger and Type-C data port work better with zbook like laptop, it also works with my personal laptop which only has type-c charger and data port. Product received earlier than expected and it worked as advertised with no need to search for additional drivers or do complicated settings, really plug- and play . I was able to connect two different models of HP laptops to it, as well as a Dell laptop (without the charging cable, of course) and it worked flawlessly.
