Soon to be Master Electrician

I may not use it every day but it has worked every time I have used it, seems well assembled. Wire colors have nothing to do with electrical codes. Overall a great buy for the money

3 phase sequence tester

This phase sequence tester is great for me. I use it in 3 phase 120 volt (60 Hz) circuits. I've seen diagrams for phase rotation testers and since only a few parts are needed there's absolutely no reason to pay more for one than it's worth. I find it strong enough for normal use and the wires are good quality. However, the case it comes in is too small and it is very difficult to put the tester, wires and clamps back in place. I plan to buy a camera case large enough to make inserting and…

Phase Turn/Rotation Meter

Very good product for its purpose. If you, as an electrician, often connect three-phase motors, you will save time. You can check the rotation by applying power to the starter. Check the indicated rotation on the counter with the desired rotation of the motor. If they match, hook up your motor as is. If the rotation is in reverse, swap the two motor T-Outs and disconnect them. Saves you the hassle of misconnecting the motor and running it in reverse. (Possible damage to the pump or compressor.)
