Product is weak. The bulb broke during installation. I had to order another one. If it breaks I won't order another one. I ordered another one because I broke it and felt wrong to blame it on the product! Got my second bull today. It also broke in the same place as the last one. This article is just junk! I advise against buying this product.

Although I was expecting a much brighter light than the original bulb, I saw a much whiter light with a pattern that spreads better across the canvas. The area at the base and needle appeared a bit dark compared to the incandescent lamp. That's the only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars. This is my mom's sewing machine and when she tells me that the LED is way better than the old incandescent bulb I give her 5 stars.

Very interesting LED lamp. This is not glass, but looks like a rubber bulb with a bayonet socket and two oval contact lines. Gives off little heat. This bayonet socket has no burr so will fit older Singer rifles. I bought a warm white but now I'm wondering if the cool white will be brighter. I'll probably buy a cool white bayonet base bulb. A bit pricey when you have to pay shipping.
