These worked well for one of the two applications. I was trying to run two VGA signals over Ethernet from a 4-port VGA splitter. The physical size of these extensions prevented them from being inserted into adjacent DB-9 ports. So I used them for one signal and bought another product to extend the second signal. The signal I used these extensions for was about 75 minutes long and the picture quality was good.

Pros: It's cheap, you get a pair and it works. Cons: It also leaves a slight red cast and outline all over the place as the red is shifted a bit from RGB. I purchased this item for the communications toilet because my existing VGA cable is too short to run from the DVR to the monitor. I thought this would be a great solution for a custom length cable as they advertise a 60 foot range. I installed the adapters and made a 10 foot Cat 6 cable.
