The genuine Huayi carburetor is shown in the pictures on the right, the one I received is on the left. The one I received is defiantly not as high quality and the mating surfaces are rougher. This carburetor works excellent for my craftsman snowblower. I purchased the snowblower as a non runner and started to go through diagnosing. Didn’t take long and I found the carb was beyond repair. I purchased this carb and 20 minutes later it was installed and the snowblower runs like new.

I installed this carburetor on a Craftsman Model 247.886910 208 cc snow thrower. It is a pain in the butt to remove and install because of the convoluted design of the machine. Today's gasoline with ethanol in it is extremely caustic to carburators. I got a good deal on this snowblower because it did not run. It had been sitting in someone's garage for years. I put this into my Troy Bilt Storm 2620. I had a little bit of a learning curve, but got the job done. I found a video online that showed the removal of the carb on my exact machine. Carburetor arrived with a broken nipple for the primer bulb. I found another one a got the snow blower running. No fault of yours just rough mailmen!

Product worked great. The only thing is that the outside intake gasket does not match up with the oem one. Had to reuse the old gasket. Otherwise machine runs great after new carburetor was installed.

Pretty close to 170S Carburetor. Only difference I saw was in the gasket set. I had to trim carb to intake gasket on one side to fit and allow bolt holes to match. Application was a troy built Squall 2100 snow blower.

Bought it to replace the carburetor on my craftsman snowblower. Comes with all the pieces and primer hose. So much easier to do this then take it somewhere and have them replace it.

I had a gummed up carb that I could not remove the main jet from to clean and unplug so ordered this to solve my problem. As well as the carb it has the primer and tubing, a fuel filter and a gasket set. I only needed the carb itself and it was a direct swap, 30 minutes and the engine started with the first pull. It’s definitely an after market item, but appears well manufactured and it works fine. I spent $16 for this vs. $35 for a carb rebuild kit from MTD that probably would not have worked…
