Horrible Quality Extension Product for Electrical Boxes

This extension product from the Conduits & Fittings category of Tools and Home Improvement was a complete waste. After I put it to the test, I noticed that the quality of the product was poor and it didn't work as described. The threads were stripped and it didn't fit into the electrical box properly, causing electrical issues.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor quality, didn't fit properly.

Adds good space to a cramped box.

It worked as advertised and was easy to install. Nice that the "nuts" were there. From single to double group with lots of ports, regular outlet plus gfci outlet are great.

Pros
  • Control Boxes
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Exactly what I need!

Needed to connect another outlet to an existing outlet in my garage. I originally used a regular 4" metal junction box, but trying to run multiple sets of wires through a 1/2" KO is tricky. Thought there must be a better way, found these extensions that worked great. Converted my 1 speed box to a 2 speed box with no problems.

Pros
  • Power
Cons
  • Useless functions
