I paid more for the square :/

The price I paid was higher than the other shape of this product which is disappointing but the square shape was best for the intended use . It's not too heavy to lift and shake out the dirt, but heavy enough to stay in place in high winds. It helps my dog get traction when using the stairs in and out of the tanning bed.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Asymmetrically cut along the grid lines

This rug would be great (in terms of absorbency and appeal) if the cut was symmetrical to match the waffle pattern/grid lines. On one edge, the distance between the waffle pattern and its outer edge is 0.5 inch. The same side but on the other side the clearance is 1.75 inches. Needless to say, this looks wonky and not right. Hardly worth the โ‚ฌ79 spent on it. Unfortunately I threw the box away and probably can't afford to return it for a refund.

  • Best in Niche

For high traffic areas, nothing beats a capybara

Nothing beats Waterhog. I made the mistake of trying something cheaper, but the surface wasn't as rough and the back had an unbearable toxic smell. I keep going back to Waterhogs and they stand the test of time. They excel at scrubbing dirt and retaining water second to none. I've had some in high traffic areas for years and they don't look significantly different than the day I bought them. The bonus was finding a square rug - you'll usually only find rectangles of different sizes.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive
