📷 HUE HD Portable USB Camera (Blue) - Light, Portable and High Definition Review

I just downgraded my rating due to issues with the stand. The webcam still works great, but when I use the stand and move the camera a bit, the stand loses the USB connection. Since this camera is intended to be moved, this is a real problem. Because of this problem, I had to stop using the stand. A good webcam, stand, and flexible cable are great for getting the camera in the right position. Ideal for online meetings as well as sharing paper documents.

What a wonderful little camera! I use it in my classroom to project worksheets, assignments or student work onto a smart whiteboard. Focus is SPOT, with exceptional clarity. It projects clearly in full classroom lighting without turning off the light cluster. It is compact yet powerful. I would give 5 stars but the neck is a bit short. I'd like to step back a bit to project a full sheet of paper, but that's about it! Otherwise it's a great value! Other teachers get one too.

I use this product as a document camera. I was disappointed that I had to download the software to use the product. I was under the impression that it is plug and play. I had to download the free version of the program due to lack of funds. As expected, the free version is not the best quality. I would really like to buy and download real software, but I will be using the device on different computers in the class. This product does what it is supposed to do. However, this is not a high-end product and the resolution is low. Interfere with extraneous light sources. I bought them with bonus points to test as a possible low cost replacement for more expensive document cameras in an educational setting. I have used more expensive products from the same company and they are excellent. If you're on a budget this works great, but if you need more bells and whistles spend a little more and get a better product.

The document camera, affectionately called Hugh by my students, saved my life in class this year. I was able to project textbooks, worksheets, reading aloud, pictures from my phone, etc. onto our whiteboard. It worked great and required very little setup to get working. The reason I have to give this four stars is because of the camera. While this is great most of the time (for an SD camera), we struggled every time the sun shone through the windows. Very poor image quality. must be placed on a very high stand so that it can cover the entire page of the book for projection onto the board. for some reason the drivers for hd hue doc camera are automatically uninstalled in windows. You have to keep reinstalling. If the drivers are automatically uninstalled, the hd hue document camera will not work.
