Strong chemical odor

My son is almost 21 months old and I have been wearing haggis since the day he was born. Unfortunately they lost a customer. After the design change and price increase from $10 for 8 diapers, they have a very strong chemical odor that intensifies when wet. Although there is no visible rash, the new design makes my son very itchy. We go through a box and a half every month, I'm not paying $75 a month for unfamiliar chemicals and itching. I'm phasing them out (because I have so many of them) with

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Do not buy the lion king seal

Very strong chemical smell and definitely not airtight. The little Mickey presses work great and don't smell, but the new King Lion print is awful and NOT safe. Do not buy. I noticed that my son was very red and swollen in the diaper area. Which wasn't normal. We change frequently. There were no such problems before. He kicked himself and slapped his diaper, feigning anger. This is unacceptable. I seem to have stopped wearing diapers but am still struggling with this redness which I now need to

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive

Keep looking it's not the best choice

We've been using Luvs diapers for over a year and a half and then got a problematic batch. We ended up with wet diapers opening and absorbent balls everywhere. When we first started using them as replacements we were happy with how they fit and absorb. We didn't mind spending money on diapers that didn't rip every day. Then new designs came out and we had similar problems with them. We change diapers frequently as our son has sensitive skin so it was a shame to find a great diaper albeit more…

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
