Poor Kitchen & Dining Product

I wanted a second bread knife to use when I take bread to parties or picnics and leave good ones at home. This knife not only fulfills its function - cutting bread. The bread will crumble or squish, but the knife that looks so good just won't cut it. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Feels Good
Cons
  • Looks

I haven't cut bread with it, but it works well with closed cell foam

I actually bought this bread knife to cut styrofoam when adapting styrofoam for different box shapes. I'm sure he'll cut the bread well too. For the price I don't think it gets any better and it cut through foam for guitar/instrument cases well.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Seriously crooked knife!

For the price this knife looks good. It's a good weight and the blade feels quite heavy. Mine is very warped. My blade is set back at least 1/4 inch from the hilt. So, even if I want to give this €6.99 product a good mark for all its quality features, a bent blade = a defective knife.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Can I add anything else

Failed the magnet test, stainless steel is not magnetic, the better the quality the fewer magnets (try it), it's very magnetic so it's high in iron and will rust. We can say that this is the lowest quality. Sharp and normal for the price, just quickly wipe dry after washing.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent for the price.

I bought this knife because I needed an inexpensive, durable horticultural knife (for cleaving perennials). I paid €6.99. However, it's such a good knife that I don't want to cut dirt with it! It's about 1.5 inches shorter than the much more expensive Sabatier bread knife I already own. I prefer the extra length, but other than that it's just as good a knife for a fraction of the cost.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Quality

Blade too thick for bread knife

The blade is too thick to cut bread, especially when it is still warm. And who wants to wait for the bread to cool completely before eating it? That's why I bake my own bread. So I can eat it warm!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Modernity

Much heavier than expected

When I saw bread knives ranging from $50 to $75 I thought that for the price it would be a really easy job. Boy was I wrong. Powerful, durable construction. I don't see where you could improve it to reimburse these others.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • No performance
