I haven't put them in a situation where I need to check for leaks. I will not. They fit well. They saved me several times when I couldn't find a cover for something. Washing off spaghetti sauce is not easy. It doesn't happen completely.

These films are great for covering dishes if you need to store food, but not for wrapping food directly - unless you like leftover avocado and onion halves. covered with wax. They also leave a waxy residue on your dishes. I have no regrets purchasing these wraps but they are of limited use.

Although you have to be careful not to clean them so thoroughly that the wax is removed, I think that's the only downside. My goal was and still is to reduce waste and they definitely help with that (goodbye plastic bags). I personally find it useful to use the same for packaging chopped onions. I mean it will absorb some smells. Otherwise, pack a turkey burger, carrot sticks and enjoy!

They are very sticky on first and new use. Now that I've used and washed them a few times, they are more flexible and not annoyingly sticky. I love that they can be used to cover bowls, plates, etc., or on their own to wrap items (leftover pancakes, sandwiches, etc.). Buy more plastic wrap - they will surely survive a few rolls of plastic wrap.

After a few uses they are very flexible and easy to seal. First I had to dip my hands under hot water and then rub the waxed cloth against the rim of the bowl (or plate, whatever the food was in!) to seal it. I've never used waxed cloths before, so maybe it's just my learning curve that made them easier after a few uses. They leave marks, but it's just wax - a little hot water and dish soap, no problem. that come with nice ones but not long enough to be super functional. Useful for wrapping…

I like the concept, a great way to save on plastic and such. But somehow cleaning hurts because your hands get sticky. The wraps are definitely well made and they are the cheapest and best value on the market. Just beeswax wraps in general might not be for me. I first used it for burritos. Don't do this, especially if this is your first time using beeswax. The tortilla sticks to the wrapper and is very difficult to pull out.
