Failed Odor Test

I agree with other reviewers that this doesn't look like 100% real beeswax. It has a certain chemical odor both in the pouch and when melted in a water bath - nothing like real beeswax. Also does not mix with mineral oil like real beeswax. It seems to melt well, but separates on cooling.

Something is wrong

Something is wrong. I've used many brands of beeswax and usually get consistent results, but my balms take longer than usual to set. I even bought it twice thinking I made a mistake but got the same results. A salve made from 15 ounces of beeswax to 85 ounces of oil shouldn't be runny, but it is.

I don't trust this company.

I don't believe this is real beeswax, it doesn't smell like anything and when making lotion and lip balm the final consistency is wrong. I've used beeswax to make lotions and balms for years, but this beeswax just doesn't do the trick. Do Not Buy From This Seller Organic USDA means nothing if the item is from China. This product is nothing compared to legitimate US beeswax companies like Meyers.

Made in China! Doesn't smell like beeswax and the color looks artificial.

Maybe good for candles but don't trust personal hygiene. NO smells that are supposed to come from "ORGANIC" beeswax! Rather, it smells very faintly of oil. Doesn't smell like honey at all! Also the yellow color is too bright and flashy; The yellow color of real organic beeswax is almost translucently cloudy. It's also made in China, which makes me question the authenticity of the claims that it's USDA certified.
