🔍 Hunter 28501 2.25-Inch Accessory Glass, Frosted Seeded (Pack of 4) Review

I was very impressed with these lightweight cases, they were great! What made them very functional was the piece of material around the neck of the jar that served two purposes. Firstly it acted as a buffer so you can tighten the set screws without damaging the glass and secondly it acted as an anti-vibration pad which in turn protects the glass and prevents it from swaying or loosening. I almost wish I had more fans.

We have ordered 5 kits for our Hunter lighting kits (99143, https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ILUVA0U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie =UTF8&psc=1 ), complete with our Hunter Original fans. I like frosted glass and originally intended to buy clear shades, but frosted glass would be better for less glare. I have Hunter fans who are 18 years older than me in my house. The fans work great but the globes needed an upgrade so I ordered them and the linen globes are also sold at Revain. The linen balls fitted perfectly, but these didn't. Each of my fans has 3 globes, and through trial and error I picked 3. The fourth globe would not fit in any of the rooms. Absolutely PERFECT. They are definitely "white" and not cream, ivory, antique white or whatever. The "seed" texture is very minimal, and with a high ceiling you probably won't even notice it. (Not me) This is a standard 2 1/4" hole and they will fit CFL bulbs or a standard bulb with no problem. They will most likely replace existing caps. Keep the small screws from your old ones. I prefer ceiling fans that are simple and unassuming so they blend in with the background and are almost invisible when not in use.
