Absolutely PERFECT. They are definitely "white" and not cream, ivory, antique white or whatever. The "seed" texture is very minimal, and with a high ceiling you probably won't even notice it. (Not me) This is a standard 2 1/4" hole and they will fit CFL bulbs or a standard bulb with no problem. They will most likely replace existing caps. Keep the small screws from your old ones. I have new ones online ordered and they are a bit large (correct size according to the specs but they don't fit my old fan) BTW the neck of these new caps has a silicone ring around the glass so the screws attach to it instead of directly to the glass.
