Hunter Fan Company 50284 Dempsey Review

This fan has only been running for an hour. the light flickers and you hear the power cut. don't waste money. cheap fan. dissatisfied

I love the look of the fan and how quiet it is. The light dimmer is not intuitive. You have to hold down the light button to change the brightness. It has a wide range of brightness. One problem is that the light often flickers. The electrician checked all the wiring again and everything was fine, so it must be the lights. Overall very satisfied so far. Would give 4.5 stars if I could

Bought two fans at a time. Fans and lights look great. Fans work well. The lights started flickering after a day. Blinking became more frequent. One light blinked every few minutes, the other every few seconds. Connections checked, both ok. Contacted Revane, they called Hunter. Hunter was familiar with this problem. They sent two new remotes (the ones in the fan case). Arrived today; haven't installed it yet.

The fan looks great BUT the motor hum is loud on speed 2 and 3. This is where we usually start the fan. I have 2 other Hunter fans and have no noise issues. Also, the light block turns off randomly. You turn on the light for 5 minutes, it goes out for 2-3 seconds and lights up again. I contacted Hunter and they had no problem replacing this model with another model that is much quieter and has no light issues. Hunter is a good brand but I wouldn't recommend this model to Dempsey.

I really like all these fans we have installed, Hunter is always in the game and they are good quality. That has been said. My electrician sewed 5 of these together with separately powered lights and a fan. These 5 are on variable switches for both the light and the fan which works well and quietly. The bulbs that come with it are too dim, but I just bought higher wattage LED bulbs. I've used the remote on one of these, and maybe accidentally or maybe not, this fan can sometimes "restart"…
