is MUCH better than these bulky surge protectors/splitters. I bought one for my home and am currently getting my school district to switch all of my power strips in my business class (which has 20+ computers) to them. And 3.4 amps charge our phones very quickly! I will never buy a cube again!

We have several places in the house that are missing plugs and this turns a two outlet outlet into a six outlet outlet, PLUS it adds one pair of easy-access USB plugs to add ports. At first I was hoping to use it where we have a GFCI connector, but having a screw in the middle won't secure it. It's also clearly stated on the back that it's not intended for use with a GFCI connector. I'm not sure why the seller stated it can be used with a GFCI connector.

I haven't noticed a big improvement in the quality of fast charging on my smartphone, so I still use my own fast charging device and connect it to this device. What I really like is the convenience of not having to constantly trip over an extension cord getting in the way and looking dirty and messy on the floor. As the price was only about $13 I feel I haven't wasted my money and I appreciate that it's plugged into an outlet but I'm not sure it's that special is as the description suggests.

This is a very good surge protector for the price. It includes 6 power outlets and two USB charging ports. (You can increase the number of USB ports by connecting an adapter and turning one of the outlets into a USB port as shown in the photo.)
