🚴 Huntvp Soft Bike Wheelset Bag – Premium Carry Bag for Road Bike & MTB Cycling Wheels Review

Advertised as a bag for 29er MTB wheels but is obviously a bag for 700c wheels. That's way too small for a 29er wheel with tires on it. A little more and it would be great. Instead I'm giving it back.

Needed to hold the front wheel when using a fork carriage. I can fit my 29x2.3 wheel/tire in the bag but it's a bit tight. I don't think that will work with a bigger tire. But for the price, if you don't run fat tires, go for it.

Very handy to have a dirty mountain tire with you when carrying it in the car after a bike ride. It would be nice to have a little more room in case I change tire construction as that is the limit of my Maxxis DHF 29x2.5.

It just depends on how long they last. The material seems good, durable and heavy. The zipper could be bigger - it would be nice to increase the size of the prong by a step or two. If the product fails, it becomes lightning fast. Time will tell what kind of people. I would buy again.

I have a bike that is good for both gravel and dirt. I only change the wheelset depending on the surface I ride on. So there is always 1 pair of wheels saved. The 27.5 version of this bag works great with 700c x 45mm and 27.5 x 2.1 tires. There's no padding, but the bag looks well constructed and should offer ample protection if thrown in the back seat or trunk.

I recently bought another 700cc deep dish bike. The previous pannier brand I liked was no longer available so I gave this one a try. This bag is of good quality, has two handles and a double zip which is optional, but my previous roller bag didn't have these features. As this bag is marketed as a mountain bike wheel bag, it is a bit large for a 700cc wheel. With my previous bag, the fit was snug and required an extra step to remove the skewer each time I loaded the rear wheel into the wheel…
