Very soft and smooth fabric! I love the inner elastic adjustable waist! Fits my son who is slim build! Please note that they do not have a mesh lining, so you will need to purchase swimwear to wear underneath! Check out the Billabong Surfer underwear, I bought it and it goes well with these shorts.

I ordered 10 pack for my 9 year old who wears 8/10 as other reviews say they run small. Not true. I also read in the reviews that they are adjustable. Not true. You're too big for him, so I have to go back. Also in the photo the green looks like light green/mint. We got a very very light green color (even lighter than in my photo) which came as a shock. My son was a bit disappointed but still loved them when they fit.

Love these surf shorts. My son wears a size 8-10 so I took the MEDIUM size 10 which is actually the 25 on the tag (this wasn't listed online). One review said they had an adjustable waist. They don't. It fell off so I ordered the next size down. 8. The size 8 I received was very short. I have size 8 Quiksliver and Billabong shorts which are much longer. I don't understand why the length was so short. So I had to send both back, which is a shame.
