Perfect fit for my son who is 41 inches tall and weighs 39 pounds. He usually wears 3/4T. This shirt will likely only fit him for one season, so size up if you want it to last longer. I think I bought 4T. Works great in the water, dries quickly and doesn't get hot. It also offers sun protection and some wind protection.

I really like this rashguard shirt. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it looks more like a t-shirt than the material it's made of. Rashguard shirts are made of. It's very thin so dries easily, but the material is different. My son loves it and continues to wear it with swim shorts.
