Only problem is I measured my dog and their small vest ONLY closes at the end. Basically if he gets even a little fat the vest probably won't fit when it comes to sizing up or maybe I'll just change it up a bit to give him a little more breathing room because I think the average size would be too big. Also, he's great, keeps the warmth of his core when we've been in the snow, doesn't shiver and is clearly visible by his black fur. This also works with his seat belts.

Excellent product. Well made, good materials, able to withstand my dogs activity. The best is VERY visible, which is what attracted me to the product. If it gets a little dirty I run a regular wash and it's as good as new. Withstands dog climbing, tunneling under bushes (and sometimes fences) and maintains a snug fit, offers protection from brambles and the like, and again fantastic vision. The X-Large size, which fits my mixed-canine dogs, was a bit too big for my 38-pound "medium" dog.

I use this vest on a terrier mix that goes with EVERYTHING. Even in winter, their brown and background brown blend together, making them almost invisible on our hikes, so a pink arctic vest saves the day. Fit can be a little tricky—she's lean and leggy and weighs thirty-seven pounds, but the large one fits her well (she's by no means a large dog). I like these. They are really attractive in color and made of good material. I haven't washed them yet. But the fabric seems durable and of good quality. To put them on you need to slide your front foot through each hole. But I've found that my dogs quickly learn to cooperate with anything that makes walking easier. Losing weight is easy.
