The system requires no drilling, installation requires some manipulation

Having spent some time installing them I can give a more detailed review. Once inside they cover the areas I wanted to protect. The rear tire has to be removed. My Ford 150 is a 2014 so the front fender brace had to be unbolted to make room to manoeuvre. I have rear fenders that had to be removed to install. I had to drill 4 holes in each insert to get it to seat properly in my fender, then reattach the fenders and tighten the bracket bolts on the front of the fender. Overall, the installation…

Doesn't fit properly and cheap hardware

I bought these for a 2013 Ford F-150 XLT. When I started to mount them, they didn't fit together, one side was too wide and rubbing against one of the wheel supports, and the other side wasn't deep enough to reach the top of the wheel. . I contacted Husky and after a long time of emailing pictures they sent me a new pair. The new pair was better, but still not nearly perfect. The hardware they provide is like clamp bolts that can be used as nuts that definitely won't last long. The attached…

Clean Trash on External Accessory

I bought them cheap thinking they should be fine. I was wrong. The plastic is a bit durable. It's not very thick, but not too thin either. I think it should hold up well for most uses. Installing the guards was a HUGE pain. I tried it on the driver's side and there was so much wrong with it. It was deformed quite badly. No matter how I tried to position it, it didn't fit the wheel. The edges of the guard look like they were poorly trimmed, so the edges were jagged, nicked in some places, and…

good for money

Installed yesterday so can't comment on durability. My truck does not have factory flares so only mounting holes A, C and D were used. Would love to see the screw holding the leading edge in the wheel well (can add one myself) as it doesn't go quite far over the edge. The bonnet only hangs with a small gap (worse on the passenger side) that can be seen on closer inspection. The valve can be pulled back to the desired position if held, but when released it springs slightly leaving a small gap…

The installation is not what is advertised.

2014 STX. They don't assemble like Husky's video and Revane's description says. It's not nearly as easy as advertising. According to the written instructions included, only four 1/8" holes are required, two on each side. In addition, they are only installed in one place below and not in three, as in the video. The lower front just tucks into the edge of the wheel arch and isn't attached to anything. I hate drilling holes in the sheet metal on the outside of the car. You have now created a spot…

Better get your Dremel.

Easy installation? Of course. After taking my dremel and cutting along the marked lines of the mold, I pressed it into the wheel arch and couldn't understand why it was impossible to line up the screw holes. So I take it off and find that when it was cut at the factory it wasn't cut along the intended lines. Also trimmed the thickness at the corners. When I did that, everything changed. Installation took over an hour including cutting and drilling. But now that I've trimmed the other one, it…

Works well, definitely NOT worth $126

Well, I used to have a padded "duffel bag" organizer under the seat which, despite having lots of pockets and dividers, always folded in on itself if you got him in and stretched or fell out from under the seat if you didn't. So annoying. I'm happy to report that this storage case obviously doesn't have this problem. The strap system keeps it VERY firmly in place and overall I'm much happier with this hard box approach. My complaints are only twofold: 1. Why they didn't reduce the height of the

Not so bad good for outdoor accessories

I didn't check them carefully before installing. It was only after installation that I noticed that a large hole had been accidentally cut on the driver's side. Completely defeats the purpose of containing elements. Also, none of them generally fit my 2006 f150 fx4. On the passenger side, a deep groove was added just above the tail where it deviates an inch or more from the straight line of the wheel arch just to get closer to the 1/3 wheel arch mark. The same on the driver's side, but less…
