Excellent goods. on Safety & Security

It even fits my big head, it's comfortable and easy to pick up when just going from place to place. The screen extends far enough to protect the sides of the eyes. It's so clean you won't notice it while working. The earmuffs are comfortable but a bit stiff to raise and lower. The assembly required some effort; See other reviews here for directions. Make sure the visor (the gray plastic piece that the screen attaches to) is inserted far enough that there is no gap between it and the orange…

Lightweight, comfortable and surprisingly unobtrusive when worn

Difficult to put together - but that's because they fit so damn tight. and since you'll probably never have to take it apart, that's a good thing. I thought I was going to break this thing trying to connect the earmuff and visor devices together, but everything stayed intact and snapped into place when I actually leaned against it. Anyone with arthritis in their hands, forearms, etc. can have a problem. Once assembled, the helmet, visor, attachment system and hearing protection work very well…

Best Overall - Head Protection

Best Overall in Field; I've tried them over the years. This Husqvarna helmet hearing protection system is the most comfortable and cushioning device on the market; and not the most expensive either. I can wear it all day without any discomfort. The belt adjustment is secure. These helmets haven't changed much over the years; possibly stronger in some areas. I just bought this new model to replace a 12 year old model that had a broken headband strap. That's when I noticed that the straps on the…

Not the mask in the photo! But a good functional helmet.

What I received instead was not what is shown in the picture. I received an unreliable reissue after asking if the mask in the picture was what I would receive. Look for another reputable seller who will sell you what is pictured. Also the visor that everyone has trouble installing - won't install as the demolding tab (from the plastic injection factory) was never removed from the center of the visor - cut it off with a razor blade and the visor snaps into place very easily. Man Husqvarna fell…

Excellent helmet (difficult guide)

This helmet is comfortable and the mechanisms of both the metal mesh visor and earmuffs work well. You can remove the hearing protection when you don't need/use it. I can't attest to the effectiveness of the belay as I haven't had a huge branch fall on my head and I hope I never fall. You can poke holes in the top with an awl to increase airflow. The mesh won't stop large limbs from smacking you in the face, but it will stop most small objects like bark and small branches. I like the helmet…

Minimal face protection.

When fully fitted the hearing protection is good, doesn't fall off when tilted but there is a gap between the top of the screen and the visor of the helmet which makes it very easy to use to scratch an itchy forehead without getting under the screen. Normally I would say that additional eye protection SHOULD be worn. No eye shield is included in this case - with a gap across the screen - so extra eye shield needs to be added to have eye shield. Again, maybe this is intentional and I'm just a…
