I got tired of paying $7 for a cable in my LBS so I bought these and they match my dropper post and rear derailleur just as well. Save money and buy them.

I installed one of these on my MTB derailleur and it broke after a few months of random riding. I do not recommend. Buy a well-known brand and save time, not money.

This is normal. Good price at $1 each. They are poorly made, so the caps have ridges that need trimming to fit modern Shimano STI brifters.

A cable and associated parts have been used with no problems. Arrived without written instructions. The first time I replaced the cable, but I searched online for instructions. Remember to lubricate the cable holder when installing.

Very thin cables. I wanted to use them on a Huffy motorcycle for off-road riding. The cable stop was too small for the brake pad and slipped out. had to return them, wouldn't recommend them for Huffy, Kent, Schwinn bikes. Don't understand how they are designed for large shop style bikes from local shops that sell bikes to families/kids.

I needed to fix the derailleur on an old mountain bike and decided to replace the cable at the same time. This suited me very well. I've never repaired the rotating derailleur I have on my bike so I made sure to have extra cables in this set in case I messed up. Everything went smoothly and I have extra cables for the future. Bought a set of 10. Attempting to repair a broken original derailleur cable. Already on 6 out of 10 cables. The cable anchor detaches from the cable with relatively little force when it is moved. It's not worth wasting time fixing a bike only to get the same result with the remaining 4 Hyacinth cables. I ordered a different brand of cable. Maybe it was a bad game, but Hyacinth isn't for me anymore.
