Extra thin felt. And super small. I was hoping they would be bigger and thicker so wax samples could be used in heaters. This is more for glue crafts. So I can still use them for schoolwork since I'm homeschooled with my kids. But not for the purpose I bought it for.

They are pretty much as described, but they are much thinner than I expected. I would say they are paper towel thick. They are fairly rigid and fairly opaque with no visible colors underneath. The only ones that had a hint of black and white fabric underneath were the pinks and yellows, and they didn't show through enough to make them unusable. In fact for some applications the thinness would be a plus, it just wasn't what I expected.

I bought this felt sewing machine "Sew Cool" for my daughter. The parts are small enough to be used in this machine. My only complaint is that the felt is almost too flimsy and you have to sew each piece over and over again to keep it in place. I never used the felt pieces that came with the sewing machine because we bought them used. Regular felt from fabric stores is too thick for the machine. This product was at a great price and was fun to try.
