I was disappointed because the description led me to believe that any utility blade could be used as a replacement when in fact only blades with a square center hole will work. I was further scammed because the product page shows "Items often bought together" and a blade that doesn't work (which I already have). If you are looking for general purpose blades, most blades offered do not have the required square hole, so the term "standard" is meaningless or the description is incorrect.

Cheap junk - don't buy!

If you're trying to use this to clean something that requires more than medium pressure on the blade, the blade just rests on the handle. The only thing holding the blade in the scraping position is a piece of easy-to-bend plastic. So you press down on the plastic ridge very hard with your thumb to keep the blade from moving back and end up chewing on the skin of your thumb. And your palm hurts because since your thumb has to hold the plastic rim on the side of the blade, you can't get a good…

Good quality scraper

I bought this scraper specifically to clean hard water from the pool tiles. Here in the West, hard water leaves hard-to-remove deposits throughout the pool. First I tried a regular window scraper with square blades. As you know, these blades are pretty thin. I found that the blades weren't stiff enough to cut through tough water deposits, the blades just flexed and went off scale.
