Description of 🐠 Enhance Aquarium Water Flow with Hydor Koralia Wavemaker Basic Controller, Dual Pump, 12V, DC

Great flexibility. Connect 1 or 2 Koralia 12V pumps same or different models. LEDs on front panel indicate pump setting and functioning. Set wave effects by setting wave timer between 2 and 15 seconds or tide effects by switching the flow on and off every 1 to 6 hours. Alternate flow with pumps one at each side of the aquarium operating on minimum and maximum controls. Feeding mode. Easy to use fuction allows feeding of fish and invertebrates in reef aquariums.

works perfectly! heavily overrated for what it does.

Works great! The price is way overpriced for what it does, but if you have the money, buy a 4-shaft generator or just buy the Vortex technology.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Good wavemaker but Vortech is better with Apex controller

I liked this wavemaker. It worked well and seemed durable. I switched to Vortech pumps to sync with the Apex controller. Vortechs are stronger and much more adjustable as they allow you to create different wave patterns. Computer controllability is also second to none with Vortech in my opinion. Vortech's cost is comparable if you're already using an Apex controller. If it weren't for this great wave generator, I would buy it again.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Base controller requires special power head connector

This controller works great with a few basic adjustments. But to connect power cables to this controller, you need pin connectors, not regular electrical connectors. You need "powered" powerheads with the right connectors. Online descriptions make it difficult to determine the exact characteristics of the fork, especially if you are unaware of the potential problem. I bought this Hydor controller to replace a more expensive defective model from another brand that ran two Hydor power heads with…

Works great

Good pump control, easy to set up, great feeding option and versatile pump timing. You can set the pumps to pump together or alternate to create a ripple effect. The start and stop time of the pumps is incremental. However, precision is out the window for gph. You have a minimum and maximum setting for the gallons per hour you want to pump. Nothing special! I have a Hydor Koralia Nano 12V 100-260 GPH controlled pump. I'd like something more specific, like 20 or 40 gallons. You just suspect…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Vulgarity
