Description of 🌡 Hydrea London Extra Tough Wooden Nail Brush - Dual Sided with Firm Cactus Bristles: For Effective Nail Cleaning

The Hydrea London Beechwood Nail Brush cleans nails whilst exfoliating around the cuticle area and the carved wooden handle allows for an easy grip. The extra firm cactus bristle is excellent for really removing stubborn dirt under the nails and on the hands. The short stiff bristles on one side clean under nails effectively while the longer bristles on the other soften cuticles and stimulate the nail bed for healthy nail growth. Made from FSC Certified Beechwood. Suitable for Vegans.

Excellent quality, made in England.

Excellent quality. Exceeded my expectations. The handle is hardwood, the bristles are quite stiff. Penetrates under the nails (men) and the long side is hard for a good cleaning. I've looked at many, many brushes and the reviews have been perfunctory. (The bristle tufts fall out, the bristles get rusty, the bristles are too soft, etc.) This had many or all 5 star reviews, so I decided to pay more (about $10 at the time). Made in England. Highly recommended. *Update* I've had it for four months…

Pros
  • Super hard cactus bristles are ideal for removing stubborn dirt from under nails and on hands.
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Finally stiff bristles!

It's hard to find a hand/nail brush with bristles stiff enough to clean under nails well enough. They really do the trick! I bought two, one for each sink. Some reviewers have complained of cracks in the wood case, so I was concerned about that. One of the two I bought has small cracks in the wood, but only minor ones. The other is completely solid. I think if I keep them away from standing water they will be fine.

Pros
  • Made from FSC certified beech
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

I couldn't find better.

I only give it four stars because it can get soft when wet. women might like it. But the brush is good. I couldn't find a better one and have tried 4 or 5 others. I have two of these. If one gets wet and soft, I use another. I also wear gloves to keep my nails clean, but only when it's safe. I don't want a tool, machine or whatever to grab my glove and cripple my fingers.

Pros
  • Suitable for vegans
Cons
  • A nuisance
