Excellent quality. Exceeded my expectations. The handle is hardwood, the bristles are quite stiff. Penetrates under the nails (men) and the long side is hard for a good cleaning. I've looked at many, many brushes and the reviews have been perfunctory. (The bristle tufts fall out, the bristles get rusty, the bristles are too soft, etc.) This had many or all 5 star reviews, so I decided to pay more (about $10 at the time). Made in England. Highly recommended. *Update* I've had it for four months now and with moderate use (not every day). It hasn't lost a single bristle and is still tough and strong. Swims too. This is one of the best products I have, probably because it's made in England. I am grateful that quality products are still being made. I just ordered two more. Again highly recommended.
