Good filter at a good price.

Just installed last week. So far it seems to work just as well as the filters we buy at our local plumbing store for about half the price. I will buy more.

WARNING: THIS IS NOT A 10 " FILTER: The packaging says it is 9.875 " long

When the filter arrived I was surprised to read on the packaging that this filter was 9.875 inches long. Placing this filter on a table next to a 10" filter will reveal the shorter length. The filter does not fit completely into the 10" filter canister, it is not sealed at the top and bottom - water flows around it, not through it. Filter material.

I have been scammed. I will not buy again. I like to buy water filters from USA, Mexico, Canada, Europe or other places that are known for their safety and product quality control. After all, my family drinks water, why take the risk to save pennies. I couldn't find out where these Hydronix filters were made so I decided to take a chance and buy one. Finally, the US flag is clearly depicted on the product label. With Old Glory on the label, I assumed the filters were made in the USA. My filter…
