Worked like a master! Installed this heavy piece of very well built engineering on a state of the art filtration system I designed for my wife's carp pond. It's a prototype at the moment, so I can't reveal too much. But with the help of this check valve, I was able to create a life-saving, oxygenated, aquatic wonderland for award-winning koi fish! Very Well Designed and Built! I installed this horizontally in one of my pool lines. The control ball will automatically return to the closed position when the pump is turned off. Almost no pressure loss and the valve prevents backflow from my filter to the pump. Works great! My only negative comment: Hydroseal does not sell parts. The thread on the screw connection is not standardized. So if you make a mistake during installation or need repairs in the future, you will need to buy a new check…

I need a hassle free ball valve that will allow me to combine the heat pump water heater condensate drain with a pressure relief valve on the common pipe to the outside. Installed vertically in the condensate drain line, such a non-return valve does not prevent the condensate from draining freely. When the relief valve is triggered, the sudden pressure at the outlet of the non-return valve causes the ball to bottom out on the top seal, preventing the waste water from flowing back into the heat…
