is the smallest air pump I have ever used and I have to say I am impressed with the performance of this air pump, it is very quiet and comes with air too . stone, check valve and tube. I've only been using it for almost a week so I like everything, compact size, great product design. I recommend this mini air pump for a smaller 30 gallon tank.

The product is small and neat but has a hum that takes some getting used to. It's not loud, but you can hear it. Literally today, after several months of use, the device began to make a lot of noise and would not let air through the sponge. I've removed the hose to see if it's clogged, but it doesn't seem like air is coming out of the unit. Poor quality product if it cannot last at least a year.

I don't hate this pump. It works really well and it's super small, which works for me as I have very little space. But because he's so tiny, he can't stand on his own and jumps around like chattering teeth. I finally managed to do it, which was difficult because I have very little space. I don't currently use this air pump as I bought it for my 3.5 gallon Beta tank filter and it was producing too much flow. But I kept it as I hope to use it in my 10 gallons once I get the filter I ordered. It was a nice little pump and definitely had some power. I wish I could give it 0 stars! This is the second Hygger mini air pump I've bought and when I plugged it in it was even louder than the first! Both Hygger models are terribly loud! Sounds like a jackhammer! I can't believe they actually say they are silent in the ad! NOT CORRECT! Loved the compact design, claimed to be quiet. However, it's not at all silent, and it depends on whether it works at all. It sits on a table and I move it from time to time to empty the tank. If I move the pump, it stops working. I have found that the slightest fingertip pressure when moving the pump or a slight twist to the side will cause the pump to stop working. It's very unreliable and unfortunate because it's a good brand at a decent price. That's enough for a 10 to 30 gallon tank. Focus

This product claims a flow rate of 50 GPH (or 3.15 l/min) which is over 7 times the performance of a Tetra 10 Gallon Silent Pump is. . The Tetra pump is only designed for 0.5 l/min. I compared them and the Tetra pumps twice as much air as this pump. So if the Tetra has a flow rate of 0.5L/min and is only rated for tanks up to 10 gallons, there is no way this pump can reach 50 gallons per hour and it definitely will not work with a 35 gallon tank.
