Parts not required: Aquarium pumps and filters

Pump heads are not maintaining pressure, allowing fluid to backflow and creating bubbles in the system. I've replaced them for $14 each and it works well enough, but I should have just bought a better model as the price doubles to make it work. Very disappointed. There could be a unit that does not lose all programming due to a power failure and working pump rollers.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Repair

It doesn't completely seal the dosing line

After calibrating it's pretty accurate, the only major issue I have is that it doesn't completely seal the dosing tube in the pump head. either pump into a tank/sump or dump back into a tank for whatever elements you are metering. That being said the accuracy will vary a bit so I wouldn't use it for anything critical and I would only use it for pumping uphill because in my opinion underdosing is better than overdosing.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to tell

I emptied the whole bottle without my permission for no reason

Already emptied the whole bottle with all liquids twice and almost killed my entire tank for no reason. Makes a howling sound and pumps all night. I was lucky that the whole tank didn't break. I am angry. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Just take Nero. It was programmed over 2 months and works. I changed the bottle of everything and washed the hoses and made no other changes. Double tested manual hoses by hand so don't say I used them wrong.

Pros
  • Annual probationary period
Cons
  • ill thought out

Reef Dosing Pump for Aquarium Pumps and Filters

I'm giving 5 stars because I can't give a 4.5. Works well. I'm only a few weeks old but it's working as expected. So far my only complaint is that programming is intimidating. It could have been a bit more user-friendly, but I'm still happy with it. The instructions are a bit difficult to understand as some of them get lost in translation. Be sure to follow the instructions in the manual. You'll need to calibrate it, so make sure you have something on hand that measures exactly 100mL. I will…

Another lazy high-tech tank tool

high-tech tank setup, thinking about auto-dosing for a while, because daily dosing of enzymes is not easy religious. I'm very happy with other Hygger products so I gave them a try. Basically, I'm very happy with this little thing. You have to manually calibrate each pump for volume input and output, so Excel, macro, micro ie 3 channels took me about 1 hour but accuracy is good in my 10 lap trail. The only thing I'd rather include longer hose lines, the hose that comes with it is about 2 feet…

You get what you pay for

While I don't want to be a negative person, I do regret buying this pump. If I knew what I know now, I would definitely spend a few bucks more for a better model. The pros are that it's pretty stable after calibration. There is no ground braking here. That's what this thing is for. If she can't, why is she being sold? Now for the cons: 1. Loud. I mean hearing it loud in the next room. Here you can suck and squeak. Sounds like creaking doors that open and close jerkily. 2. Poor design of inputs…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

With one word. TERRIBLE!: Water pumps

There is no better way to describe this device. It's terrible in every way. I got it to automate nutrient delivery for a hydroponic system with plans to expand it to other hydroponic systems with the same type of equipment (additional purchases). The first one I got all 4 pumps seemed to work initially. So I calibrated them and then moved the device to the desired location which was a bit awkward so I wanted to calibrate it first. Then I found that when I unplugged the device and moved it…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
