Fire hazard! Suitable for aquarium heater

Stay away from this heater! My house almost burned down. The only thing that saved me was that I was at home when the short circuit happened. The fork burned my carpet. Never again!

Pros
  • Titanium heating element, with 2 suction cups
Cons

Direct replacement for original

Works great. I bought a set with a temperature controller. Once I changed the water in the aquarium and forgot to turn off the heater so it burned out. Its my fault. I ordered this and it was a direct replacement and it works as it should.

Pros
  • Replacement heating element for HG-802-500W
Cons
  • So far so good

Simple and clean look

I use an Inkbird ITC-306T+Aquarium Probe to control these heaters. I put 2 on my 150 gallons and they work great. Pure, unfinished titanium looks simple and pleasing to the eye. They are always on when the controller is not in use and there is no indicator on the heater to show it is on. I like them and would buy them again.

Pros
  • Must be used with Hygger 802-500W heater controller
Cons
  • Something else
