NITRIDED HSS - Made of high quality 4341 high speed steel and coated with nitride, which can improve the drill bits' durability and cutting efficiency. PRECISION GROUND - These bits are fully ground so that it's cutting diameter is seriously accurate and the lifespan is prolonged in comparison to non-ground alternatives(roll forged bits). SPLIT POINT - 135 degree self-centring split pointed tip combines active cutting and perfect centring without wandering. The split-point tip also eliminates any need to pre-punch or pilot drill for up to 10 mm. FOR GENERAL USE - designed for for drilling holes in plastic, wood and soft metal like aluminum, iron, etc. It has a cylindrical shank system (shank equal to drill bit diameter) and is intended for use in drill stands and drill drivers. 10PC SET - Includes 10pcs of 5/16" straight shank twist drill bits. Manufactured to DIN338 standard. Total length: 4.61". Working Length: 2.95".

Hymnorq 3/8 " HSS Twist Drill Bit Set 5 Piece Black Nitrided Coated

These are heavy duty drill bits. They fit my heavy duty drill perfectly and work like they are supposed to.I got through the cinder block with one of them with no problems.I have backups if I need them but so far only one has worked well for me.

Surprisingly sharp bits, straight and precise, the tip grips very well.

This is the first tip I've ever used when I thought too much pressure might cut my fingers - the coil feels *very* sharp The tip grips well and doesn't wobble or wander - I've tried this in a variety of woods and aluminum With the drill bit in the drill bit, I put a 1.5" container in my vise (it has plastic jaws) and clamp it tight - I pulled the drill back a few inches and let go. The drill didn't break and stayed true. I had other shots at this point. So I'm 100% satisfied.
