This is the first tip I've ever used when I thought too much pressure might cut my fingers - the coil feels *very* sharp The tip grips well and doesn't wobble or wander - I've tried this in a variety of woods and aluminum With the drill bit in the drill bit, I put a 1.5" container in my vise (it has plastic jaws) and clamp it tight - I pulled the drill back a few inches and let go. The drill didn't break and stayed true. I had other shots at this point. So I'm 100% satisfied.
