Bad design for everyday backpack

The frame and material of this bag is very bad. I travel a lot and was looking for a solution that would allow me to carry clothes and electronics (laptop etc.) in one bag. This pocket fails in both cases1. Be an electronics bag2. Being a pannier The real issue is how it sits on the shoulder. It has no padding or back structure which means it falls right onto whatever you have in your bag, meaning when you're not wearing clothes it will shrink uncomfortably and the electronics compartment will…

Best way to carry

So far so good: I just got my laptop (and charger), five shirts, one skirt, two pants, underwear, socks, a pair of shoes, pyjamas, a cosmetic bag. and my curling iron. Also insane was how I compressed it enough that I was sure the backpack would fit on the plane fairly easily. If I wanted a little more space, I would definitely have more space. It's also very comfortable and sturdy. It's much better than rolling a small suitcase. This is very cool if you have to wander around town before…

Old design closures that were still sold by Revain in March 2017

I have read many reviews complaining about the failure of the fasteners on the straps. I said it couldn't happen to me, wrong. I was on my way to my first assignment, got out of my Lyft car at PHL airport, grabbed the strap of the backpack and the strap snapped instantly. Salvation was a replacement tape, which was there. When I got home I contacted Hynes Eagle, Maggie's support in China. She said she was only aware of 5 breakdowns as the locks were replaced with stronger ones. She sent me 2…

Too bad I wouldn't trust the reviews. THE WORST. BACKPACK. JE.

This is the worst backpack I have ever bought. I took the time to read the reviews and really trusted them and goddamn it misled me. Received this backpack on Wednesday, intended to fly out on Thursday, intending to take it as carry-on with no other bags. boy it was a mistake Checked in with the airline and went through security with a backpack in tow. As I left the grading line, TWO MAIN BUCKLES fell off like buttons on a too-tight shirt, and this stupid backpack fell to the ground, literally…

We really didn't think it would work.

But it worked. My wife and I, in our 50's, went on a 10 day trip and were each given a Hynes Eagle backpack. She has 45 liters and I have 40 liters. When they arrived I couldn't imagine it working. Serious. But I was very, very wrong. The 40L backpack is perfect for her back (5'6") to carry my stuff and the 45L backpack is comfortable for mine (6'4"). We've added liners to keep things organized and the pockets have been padded to protect electronics. Well, to be honest we spent a lot of time…

A Must Have for Traveling

After purchasing and using your products, I noticed an insert that called for a review of your products. My husband and I have started to travel more now that we are empty nesters. Through trial and error, we've found that international travel requires strategy. After a few trips, we've certainly learned that luggage weight may or may not be your friend. And the ability to move quickly also requires organization. These are two areas where your products have really helped us on our travels. My…

Not bad but design flaws

Overall it was a good investment for my 14 day trip to Europe. We stayed in hotels so I only had to lug it around going to/from the airport or train station, but even then it held up well. Packing cubes were a good investment; However, I want them to be double sided. I traveled with the medium to small cases because when using all three you have virtually no space in the main compartment and it felt quite heavy once I had filled and packed all three cubes. Clips and straps on the outer 4…

I was delighted and satisfied with the quality of this

Our family received four of these backpacks for international travel. You have served us well. Bag size meets international carry-on size requirements (unless overcrowded). Check with your airline about the category of your ticket - although there is a 'standard', the 3 airlines had 3 requirements that were almost the same but not quite the same. It's not a big bag, but we had what we needed (and washed) for a 2+ week trip to Europe! The ability to not wait for your luggage and go straight…
