I use this cheap, durable comb most of the time when styling our natural African American hair at home. And it always works wonders because you can't go wrong! I really, really like this wide comb. I got it because I read online that it's best for your hair if you comb it out with a wide comb after you shower. I start at the bottom and work my way up through my hair and this brush is very relaxing to use. I definitely feel "cleaner" afterwards as the hairs left on the brush are dead strands along with what may not belong (e.g. stubborn lint). I clean my comb after every use.
