I bought this for my cockatiel who is adamant about standing on the water and pooping in it. I wanted something with a large enough slot for easy drinking and bought this. The clamp is not attached to the bars and is unusable. I use a zip tie to attach the bottle to the cage. I'm just waiting for him to aim for the zip tie and drop the bottle on the floor. After all, the main goal in life is to cause chaos. He's really good at it.

I bought this water bottle for my new hamster (Winter White) who was having trouble using a traditional cage water bottle. I tried using a small plate but it would be full if the litter was put in her cage after a few moments. I took a closer look and decided to try this bottle. It works amazingly well. I bought this bottle to try and tempt one of my rats to drink more because it didn't seem to like gravity feed very much. It holds a lot of water and it seemed to be sufficient for the most part. I didn't like that there can be a mess when flipping if you're not very careful. I also find the way it attaches to the cage awkward.
