I needed to change the differential ratio in my Mustang GT 07 (modification only). This device allowed me to change the differential to make my speedometer work properly. Please note that there are limitations on differentials that are compatible with this Mustang unit. I don't recall him having the ability to go into a higher gear (e.g. 2:73). I only remember 3:31, 3:55, 3:73 and possibly 4:11 as options for 07.

I am very satisfied with the result of the product. My only "complaint" is that I had to plug it into my computer to update something in it, which required installing a driver on my computer. So it wasn't immediately ready for use. My car is 05 so I know it doesn't use new technology. But after all that, it did exactly what I expected and only took about 10 minutes.

Bought as a single used item in original packaging. First it came in a plastic bag without the original packaging. Second, he is married to another car. I called Hypertech and had to pay an additional $135 to have them end the marriage. It's useless as it is. Revain refunded my money but I waited a week for this and now I have to buy another one. Do not buy this item.

I changed my tire size to something bigger but couldn't find anyone to adjust the speedometer on my truck. I actually get paid for my miles so it was a bargain! I was able to download a specific program for my truck and reprogram everything in less than 20 minutes. I have a Garmin GPS that I use for work and I have been able to confirm that my speedometer was programmed accurately!
