Great Memory Upgrade

Another fantastic memory product from Kingston. Installed the update and ran memtest86 to check the hardware. Works perfectly. I've bought some Kingston HyperX and Valueram bricks and never had a problem. Other brands have had to return multiple sets of faulty memories. It turns out that the more memory cards you have, the less electrical noise there is on the boards, otherwise they become unstable. Will definitely buy more of these cards in the future.

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Annoying

For old laptops with ddr3l this is damn good.

Fast and passed every stress test I threw at it. Remember this is ddr3l so 1.35 volts. Since it's sold as a kit, the dual-channel memory worked great. An improper RAM installation provided by Dell has been replaced. This not only increased the frequency, but also resulted in a more responsive system overall. Because it's not a mismatch. Saves laptop battery power. And it doesn't get very hot. So overall, if you also consider the price. The best upgrade to breathe new life into an old, crappy…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Can take damage

Works great on a 2011 17 " Macbook Pro - improved benchmarks!

I just pulled out two 8GB 1600MHz SODIMMs and 2133MHz 16GB HyperX SODIMMs in Installed on my 2011 17" Macbook Pro. Now it works like clockwork! A Geekbench summary and detailed results are attached. Memory bandwidth increased by 27% and there were other significant improvements including a 5.3% increase in performance in Multi-Core Tests Several individual tests have shown an improvement of more than 10%.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons

Works great with my NUC5i7RYH (i7-5557U onboard processor)

I've done a lot of research on what is the fastest and best RAM for my NUC5i7RYH. I was hesitating between this DDR3 1866 and G.Skill Ripjaws 1866. I couldn't find any specs on the Intel NUC website that said my CPU model I7-i7-5557U supports 1866MHz RAM, but this has been covered in many reviews by Mentioned Revain. I've always had good experiences with Kingston. I paid a few bucks more for Kingston RAM to use what I know. I am happy with my choice. My RAM exceeds expectations when I test it…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Long time

Not an authorized reseller

I have two HyperX DDR3 modules. One of them works fine on my ASUS N550JK and the other doesn't work at all (machine won't boot with it). I am NOT an authorized reseller so Kingston will not honor my warranty. Revain.com has not informed me that the seller is not an authorized reseller and that it does not receive a warranty from Kingston.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Not bad

Too expensive. best in mind

I installed them on a Thinkpad and ran into all sorts of problems. Had to turn off the power saving features in the BIOS to get it to boot, which was odd. I've spent some time (too much time) trying to get it to work. Had to disable CPU power saving features to boot. After about two weeks, I found my laptop wouldn't go to sleep. Very unusual RAM behavior causing these problems. Of course, it could be something with my motherboard, CPU, etc. You have passed memtest86. Went with Hynix 1866MHz…

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some problems
