Worked like a charm fixing old GI Joes

Found old GI Joes in the attic when moving house. My eldest son who is now 40 years old had many of these. We used o-rings to fix dry rotten o-rings at GI Joe's and now my grandson has lots of new (old) friends to play with. As another reviewer mentioned, it's good to stretch the o-ring a bit before attaching it to the GI Joe's hook. The rings are very tight, but it's good.

Pros
  • O-rings and O-rings
Cons
  • Out of style

Now I know and knowledge is half the battle!

I couldn't help but laugh at all the reviews of the GI Joe renovation. And now I buy them for the same. (I wonder if everyone read the same article on Instructables.com and followed the same link to these o-rings) Funny anyway, but I digress. These are high quality o-rings perfect for attaching our toys and I'm pretty sure they fit in car air conditioners too haha. Buy them if you need to fix Gi Jo! Hello Joe!

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Some little things

These o-rings are the perfect size! Be aware though

I bought these to fix my aging Gi Joe figures. Over the years the o-rings used to attach their hips/legs to the main bodies have become obsolete and ruptured. These o-rings are the perfect size! However, remember that while your Joe is in his 20s or 30s, these rings are brand new. Therefore, it is better to stretch the o-rings a bit before installing them. It's nothing serious, just slide the o-ring over the scissors (outside the blunt edges) or pliers and gently pull the handles outward. Hold…

Pros
  • O-Rings
Cons
  • Very Expensive
