Great alternative to straws

Feels like plastic, won't break down like paper and is compostable! Perfect straws to be honest. They can break more easily than plastic straws when chewed, but that's not a big deal. Great alternative to normal straws.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No instructions

much better than paper straws

I've tried to use less plastic by buying paper straws but they don't last long in hot drinks and they get wet. We tried them because they are natural and contain no plastic. These straws are very durable and also come individually wrapped to keep them clean in my pantry. would buy again!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not bad

Good alternative to paper straws

This is a good alternative to plastic straws. The problem we had was that it started to break down in the presence of warm water. They don't feel as harsh, but they don't dissolve as easily as paper straws in cold water (colder drinks in general), which is nice. There is no smell or weird aftertaste. I wish they weren't individually wrapped because that adds more junk to the house.

Traditional plastic straw feels

For an eco-friendly straw, this is one of the best straws I've used. It looks like a trickle of plastic, but it's not, and that's a good thing. Paper straws disintegrate after a while in the cup, but they can withstand hot or cold drinks without any problems. Each is individually wrapped in paper making them suitable for straw dispensers. I just like them because they feel like regular straws and when I have friends I prefer to give them a sealed straw because it makes them feel safer and they…

Maybe I caught a faulty batch?

They are so fragile and fragile. I've used bioplastic or compostable straws for years (avocado and cane straws are my favorites, but I've also used rice and corn-based straws - they all work better than these) and my general rule of thumb for choosing an eco-friendly disposable straw is , that it cannot contain any major allergens and should stay in my cup almost as long as a plastic straw. This satisfies the first condition but not the second, not because it will disintegrate, but because it…

Five stars from a straw with a fanatic

I use at least one straw every day, myself and the rest of my family of five. I use one in my morning coffee. This is a habit I've had for many years after reading something that said drinking coffee through a straw is better for your teeth. While I'm not claiming this is actually true, I can tell you that these straws are great. I tried to get on board with stainless steel straws, which I used to jab myself on a regular basis. Then I bought silicone tips for them, but they are very difficult…

  • Finally bought
