These are amazing little lightbulbs. I didn't want to add light strips as I would have wires everywhere. I like the clean look and they meet my needs. They go out when the engine is switched off and there is no power at the sockets. I recommend it!

Wow, so bright. My wife put one under her desk so she could see things in her notebook. I hooked one up to an extension cord as a night light and had to tuck it under my bed to mute it. Another one in my truck so I can see the ground at night. Really cool simple application of LED technology.

I ordered blue for the interior lighting when a Ford pickup. It's really light and in my car the USB is on the bottom. Really too bright. Also, the car USB port never gets disabled, so I chose not to use it. Connected to the second slot of the kitchen debate charger, it looks like a night light. Some have argued it was weak: not what I experienced.

I bought this light for the interior of my 2015 Civic which does not have a floor light. Line of sight at your car's power outlet, this is annoying to say the least. I tried blue but I believe all colors of light are the same Kelvin rating and will be equally annoying when driving at night.

There is nothing wrong with this product. From the moment I took it out of the box, it doesn't work properly with any USB port. Between two different cards I tried 10 different connectors and encountered the same problem every time. The light doesn't make proper contact in the plugs and if you even manage to keep the light on, the light will go out as soon as you hit the slightest bump. Absolutely nothing but garbage

As you can see from my photos, the first picture doesn't capture what is visible to the naked eye. But the other two photos show what you can see when you change the camera settings. There are 2 LEDs on the top of the connector, the cover for the USB light is transparent, very clear, so much so that you can see the circuit board that the LEDs are attached to. I think if they just made the plastic more opaque it would diffuse the light better. But then they wouldn't have the same throw distance.

On my 2016.5 Mazda CX5 the USB ports are in a recess under the climate control panel in front of the center console. This is the only place in the car where you can store things that require easy access (cell phone, etc.). At night it's completely dark, you can't see anything. This is a great solution.
