🔌 25-Pack Black ICC Module Review

Once you use modular connectors like this one from ICC in combination with a JackEasy crimping tool, there's no going back to punching individual pairs on the patch panel. Not only do these connectors save me tons of installation time, they far outperform them in terms of performance and connection reliability.

I like the ease of use with one tool crimping and the slim design allows them to fit nicely into keystone patch panels without stacking, but the design itself isn't the best. The top part that attaches the socket to the panel is just 2 small clips instead of 1 long clip. This design makes it very fragile and prone to breaking/bending/etc when you take it out. You have to be very careful to push it all the way in and flip it back or you risk ruining the top of the plastic clip. not a fan

I did not dare to use these unknown connections to me. But for a fraction of the cost of the Leviton equivalent, I chose this series to renovate our offices. For about 1/3 the cost they end up being fine. The corresponding tool that I bought did not suit me (despite the cost savings). However, the connectors are suitable for Leviton plates. In fact, they match the wall panels a little better than the steel overlay panels. In patch panels they are a bit looser than Leviton connectors. However…
