Great for hiking/climbing!

Wore them for a few days on a 4 day hike in Peru. Loved the temperature control and no smell! Really good quality clothes. Couldn't be happier with it.

Warm and Comfortable: Clothing

My husband used it for rafting on the Rio Grande in December where we endured 18 hours of continuous rain. Underneath he wore Helly Hansen raincoats, which he had also bought from Revain, and his feet stayed dry and warm at all times.

Not as heavy and thick as I expected

These 175 lb Merino wool pants were much thinner than I expected, I could easily see through the fabric. I sent it back the same day I opened the package. I will look for a heavier product made from merino wool.

  • Handy item
Cons
  • Working Speed

Disappointing purchase

I was very pleased with the purchase of these wool leggings, judging by the price they looked great and the reviews were mostly positive. I have to say that I am very disappointed with the build quality. The wool came loose from the elastic the second time it was worn. I didn't over tighten the leggings and they were so new that "wear and tear" couldn't be applied. I feel like I wasted my money.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Crumpled

Not what I needed

That's an insanely good price, but... 1) Thickness: 175 Merino fabric is thin. Some of my shirts are 150 merino wool and seem to be thicker. However, they are quite suitable as a base layer under pants (skiing or snowboarding). You will be extremely prone to running away from any kind of driftwood. Stretching them shows how the material is material. Make sure your toenails are well pedicured. 2) Fit: At 5ft 7in and 130lbs, the little ones were too loose. I'm a skier's build and they just didn't
