Comparable to well-known brand

Have been using these since 2016. Inexpensive and do the job well. I had no problems except when the repairman came out and said we should use the original water filter from now on. The repair was unrelated to the filter and I can't pay $50 for a filter.

Great Price - Parts and Accessories

Art. drove me crazy I just got an email from Maytag with a bargain price of $44.95 and free shipping. I bought it too. I went to the manual to look for the part number. Then he went to Raven. To my great surprise, I found the right #. Different brand but only $26 for 3 filters. When I received them 2 days later, I took out the old one and put it next to the new one. Everything is identical. Thank you Revan

Part no longer fits

I have ordered these before and they have always fitted and worked well. However I had to return the last order as they have replaced the plastic insert that connects to the water outlet and are no longer replacing the UKF8001 filter. At least not the ones on my Maytag fridge. The image shows the old style at the top and this new insert style at the bottom. I'm sure the filter will fit your fridge, it will work just fine, but I would advise avoiding this filter if you want a real UKF8001…

Works great on city water. No aftertaste from day one; installed early June 18. You must soak the new filter before using it! maybe 15 minutes or so, then install a new filter and leave water in the filter when installing. I don't know what exactly is filtered out, but straight out of the tap there is a distinct flavor. Let's face it, we're not talking rocket science here. Water in, water out, that's all. So why did I pay $50 each for a plastic in-line filter? Hit me, but I don't do it anymore. They work flawlessly and are literally a fraction of the price. We recommend. **A NOTICE. A suggestion. We tested several filters for our Whirlpool Fridge's water and ice dispenser, but we had trouble finding a filter that kept the water really fresh and clean fresh tastes clean.
