Plug-in to replace old Bryant HH84AA015 board

Replaced by Bryant/Carrier HH84AA015. No problem - oh, but it's not for the faint of heart or those with no electrical knowledge.

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
Cons
  • Negative result available

Buy if it works!

The local HVAC company wanted to charge me $900 for the install and didn't want to just sell me the part. It was worth waiting two days to save $875. Works great in my 1987 Bryant HVAC unit!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Unsure

OEM - Perfect - Exact Replacement

This bezel fits older Carrier Ovens. They don't want to know how much the dealer is asking for you. Even wholesale houses cost a lot more for the same board. Installed, the replacement is excellent, the position of the plugs has shifted a bit, but the main plug on top and the mounting holes match perfectly. So far no problems. Much better built over the original board but again this is a 20+ year old stove.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Zero

Works well with a thermostat that meets ICM Co specifications.

Works well. Factory reps explained that the old Mercury Bulb Dial thermostat needed to be replaced with a digital C-wire or battery-powered thermostat. Otherwise current fluctuations caused by the physical delay of the thermal protection in a physical thermostat with a mercury lamp and even in digital thermostats without a separate power supply like the C-wire will disturb the circuitry on the control board. In short, "upgrade" the thermostat if the existing one does not match the description…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some difficulties
