Fits snugly leaving room to snap. When I removed the old one, 1-1/4" thick foam was taped to the underside of the cover to separate the cooling chamber. I opted for spray adhesive (on the flat metal pieces) and double sided tape (on the cooling fins) of the air conditioner instead of gluing foam to the new cover. The housing fits the frame of the air conditioner well, but none of the holes matched. All four new holes must be drilled. It also doesn't come with the pieces of foam tape that make the seal from the air conditioner to the fairing. I knew this when I bought it, but figured I could buy the gasket material at a hardware store or van parts store like Icon recommends. No way! 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" foam with a sticky side could not be found on google or any store. The foam tape is included in the Dometic

Yes it fits, but there may be a little problem when putting it on for the first time as it needs to be "widened" a bit to fit in the frame. As other customers have pointed out, the holes don't always line up (just one of my six) but a drill bit solves that problem. Be careful because your air conditioner's beautifully painted frame looks sleek but razor sharp. Wear gloves or other protective measures when clamping this thing to the AC frame.
