Did I get ripped off?

I've got bricks of other miniatures from WizKids and this one seems weird in comparison. The packaging is either really bad or I got ripped off. Multiple layers of tape, poorly applied tape, weird folds in the packaging, and some of the boxes that didn't have larger miniatures in them just had the miniatures rolling around in the box. SuspiciousIn terms of quality I really like the miniatures, the clear bases in the newer sets are really very good and the miniatures themselves are painted well…

Pros
  • Wild Beyond the Witchlight miniatures jump right out of the Dungeons and Dragons books and right onto the tabletop, joining the battle alongside many other Wizkids fantasy miniatures.
Cons
  • The minis in the booster brick are not compatible with other D&D campaigns

Upon opening the shipping box I noticed right away that the package of minis had a large tear across the front, the set was meant to be displayed but can not with this damage. Most importantly is the lack of quality control. Very visible through the clear plastic you can see that the displacer beast is missing one of its legs, the leg was never attached at the factory. There is no way good quality control would have missed this. I contacted WizKids who told me to file for a replacement on their

Pros

Cons

a decent set on my review.

this is for the League of Malevolence starter set, a five mini package that includes kelek and warduke.the construction of the minis is solid, and the paints are decent for a prepainted set. the poses are mostly dull, but at least they arent outrageous or ridiculous. kelek staff is packaged with a bent staffhead, for some reason. overall an ok buy if youre a big fan of the characters

Not worth it - my new review

Many broken figures, not all boxes have a large mini, some weird broken horn that has no label. Very poor showing compared to other sets put out by WOTK. I have been very happy in the past but they are starting to make too many cash grabs with all material coming out lately.

Pros
  • 2.2 pounds
Cons
  • The booster brick promotes a capitalist mentality within the gaming community
